Overview

We’re looking for an exceptional Growth Manager to join Temple at a critical time of growth. You will lead the development and execution of our revenue growth strategy, building and optimising a high-performing customer acquisition funnel which spans between all of our marketing channels. As the company scales, you will have a direct influence on the growth strategy as Temple continues to expand and become a global bicycle maker.

The Role

We’re looking for someone exceptionally talented to join our team who is determined to help the company excel, taking things to the next level. You will need both time and commitment, and the energy and enthusiasm to be hands-on in leading the drive for revenue growth. We are looking for someone who is laser-focused on increasing the visibility and credibility of the brand, managing all growth activities and projects, while hitting all revenue growth targets and making sure results are analysed to achieve the best ROI.

We’re seeking to work with someone who is creative, innovative and entrepreneurial in their approach.

 

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the company Founder, Head of Ops and Digital Marketing Agencies to develop and build the growth strategy and manage its execution as we gear up for Series A, ensuring we’re on track to meet revenue growth goals.
  • Own all aspects of growth marketing activities, including campaign set-up, optimisation, troubleshooting and reporting
  • Work across teams (Marketing, Website, Sales, Customer Support, Physical Retail) to develop new acquisition channels that focus on prioritising the right initiatives, creatives, tests and iterations
  • Constantly analyse and iterate on growth activities, forming the foundations of our approach to growth
  • Report on the learnings and ROI of growth activities across all channels, turning findings into something digestible, with clear actionable insights
  • Create dashboards and tooling that drives testing and reporting to aid faster action, improved decision making and increased growth towards the company's targets

Requirements

Our ideal candidate will have experience within a fast growth tech startup, D2C consumer brand or premium product focused business. They will need to be a growth marketing expert, an excellent collaborator, and someone who thrives in a dynamic, scale-up environment.

  • Excellent project management skills
  • A self-starter who gets projects delivered efficiently, even without perfect resources or a large team to rely on
  • At least 4+ years experience of growth and marketing within a relevant industry, covering all aspects of digital marketing
  • Able to evidence successfully managing campaigns and projects which resulted in strong levels of revenue growth
  • Business savvy, innovative and commercially driven
  • Strong understanding of website conversion optimisation and ability to manage website updates and changes
  • Understanding of graphic design, photography, videography and copy, and how this is used for growth projects
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal communication skills

FINANCIAL CONTROLLER

Overview

We’re looking for an exceptional and ambitious Financial Controller to join Temple at a critical time of growth. You will be joining early in the business’s growth phase and have the task of building a structure around you. Whilst you will need to especially be hands-on in the early months (working with our in-house accountant/bookkeeper and accounting partner Harwood Hutton), you will be laying the foundations to create strong controls and cash forecasting processes, as both costs and sales ramp up and we scale the business.

After the foundations have been put in place, you will spend a significant proportion of your time using market leading data analytical tools to support the management team with commercial reporting and insight, building a strategy to enhance the business progress and improve financial efficiencies. Along with year-end duties, you will help set annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, with key input into the design of monthly management reports. Joining the company at these early stages of growth will give you a unique opportunity to contribute significantly to the success of Temple Cycles. As the company grows and becomes much more established, we see this role as having the potential to develop into a FD position.

  • Work closely with the company Founder, COO, Accounting partners and in-house accountant/bookkeeper as we grow the business and gear up for a Series A fundraising, ensuring we’re on track to meet our business goals
  • Building robust systems and processes to aid the companies growth and forecasting
  • Clear and concise reporting to aid top-level business decision making
  • Constant analysis on the company’s financial activities, always looking for improvements and carrying out change

Requirements

Our ideal candidate will have the ambition and drive to grow a purpose driven business, constantly looking for improvements and efficiencies, and be excited to work for a company such as Temple. The role will suit someone who is looking for a high-paced and exciting work environment where the whole team works on a common mission. They need to be a self-starter when it comes to planning and implementing.

  • Business savvy, innovative and commercially driven
  • CCAB qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or similar)
  • Wide range of industry experience gained in practice within the industry, or purely from industry
  • Rigorous financial modelling skills to assist with business planning
  • A very good knowledge of accounting standards, tax, and VAT legislation
  • Good IT skills for manipulation of data, and presenting to both internal and external parties
  • A self-starter who gets projects delivered efficiently, even without perfect resources or a large team to rely on
